Why should I be baptized?
Baptism is an important step in our spiritual journey that shows others you have personally trusted Jesus for your salvation. By being baptized, you are also following the example set by Jesus. (Mark 1:9)
What about children?
All instances of baptism follow an individual’s decision to trust Jesus alone for their salvation. At Eagle’s Nest, we wait until children are old enough to believe and understand the true meaning of baptism before we baptize them. When a child makes a decision to follow Jesus, we gladly baptize them as a symbol of their faith in Jesus.
(Acts 8:12, 10:47-48)
Who should be baptized?
Every person who has asked Jesus into their life should be baptized. (Acts 2:41, Matthew 28:19)
Can I get baptized if I have already been baptized?
If you have not been baptized by immersion since asking Jesus into your life, your next step is baptism. If you have been baptized since asking Jesus into your life, there is no need to be baptized again.
