Men Who Win Retreat
Eagle’s Nest Men’s Retreat
Rev. Ken Johnson Chaplain of the Indianapolis Colts
9am to 3pm
Saturday May 1, 2010
Opportunities such as this seldom knock twice. Our special guest, Rev. Ken Johnson, chaplain of the Indianapolis Colts will be with us for our Men’s Retreat on Saturday, May 1st here at Eagle’s Nest Fellowship Church.
Ken’s goal when he communicates is to motivate, educate and inspire. Growing up in the inner city of Dallas, surrounded by drugs and alcohol, extreme poverty and a real sense of hopelessness, Ken was led to athletics as a means of escape. After graduation from college where he became an “All-American” football player for Tulsa, his dreams of a pro career were prevented due to a knee injury. Ken went on to serve as a police officer in Tulsa for 6 years, much of that time in the inner city. It was during those years that Ken developed a deep compassion for the plight of today’s youth.
Rev. Ken speaks over 250 times a year to
audiences both large and small, from the
Whitehouse to the outhouse, from 50,000 men at Promise Keepers to five men at team chapels. Come join us for this special day of sharing God’s desire for men to win.
Tickets are $25.00 per person and include:
Pancake Breakfast
Crossroads Vocal Band
Chic-Fil-A Luncheon
